Archium Cellars

Objective

Vino Langhe Imports was created to introduce American buyers to a more intimate expression of Italian wine.

Its portfolio is rooted in the Langhe, a region defined by generations of winemaking tradition, remarkable terroir, and producers whose wines are often known only to those who have visited their cellars.

The objective was to build a brand and go-to-market strategy worthy of that provenance—one that could convey rarity without pretension, honor the character of the producers, and position Vino Langhe Imports as a trusted guide to an exceptional collection of wines.

Campaign

The campaign focused on repositioning Archium Cellars as more than a traditional wine producer. It would become a curator of distinctive wines and experiences, connecting members with exceptional bottles, thoughtful hospitality, and a deeper appreciation for wines that have been carefully aged and cared for over time.

A central part of this evolution was the creation of the European Archive.

The European Archive allows Archium to curate a selective collection of European wines that would otherwise be difficult for its members to access. These wines are acquired, properly stored, and given time to mature before being offered to members at the appropriate stage in their development.

This created a new path for Archium to expand its offerings without relying on continued full-scale production. It also reinforced the brand’s expertise in wine stewardship, aging, provenance, and curation.

Marketing and customer-experience support included:

  • Producing live wine-tasting events

  • Introducing the brand to new prospective customers

  • Improving lead capture during and after tastings

  • Developing a more seamless tasting-inquiry and scheduling process

  • Improving the customer experience around selecting and ordering wine

  • Creating more consistent opportunities for customers to interact with the brand

  • Developing email campaigns to promote tastings, wines, and member opportunities

  • Supporting the launch and positioning of the European Archive

The live tasting events gave guests an opportunity to experience Archium in a personal setting, learn the stories behind the wines, and interact directly with the brand.

Rather than treating each tasting as an isolated event, the experiences were designed to create an ongoing customer journey. Guest information could be captured more effectively, prospective customers could receive appropriate follow-up, and initial interest could lead to future purchases, private tastings, and continued brand engagement.

Email campaigns extended that experience beyond the tasting room. They helped Archium introduce curated selections, promote upcoming events, share brand stories, and stay connected with customers after their first interaction or purchase.

Results

The work helped Archium Cellars begin transitioning from a production-dependent winery into a more flexible, experience-driven wine brand.

By combining live tastings, curated wine access, improved lead capture, email marketing, and a more refined ordering experience, Archium developed new ways to attract prospective customers and strengthen existing relationships.

The campaign supported:

  • Greater exposure to new customers

  • More effective lead capture and follow-up

  • A smoother process for scheduling tastings

  • An improved customer ordering experience

  • More consistent communication through email campaigns

  • Stronger engagement before and after live events

  • A sustainable model for expanding the brand beyond wine production

  • A distinctive member offering through the European Archive

The European Archive gave Archium a platform through which it could continue sharing exceptional wines without needing to produce every bottle itself. It also provided members with access to carefully selected wines that had been stored, aged, and cared for until they were ready to be enjoyed.

Takeaway

Archium Cellars demonstrated that a wine brand does not have to depend entirely on continuous production to remain relevant or continue growing.

With the right combination of curation, hospitality, customer experience, and communication, the brand could evolve from primarily producing wine to providing access, expertise, and memorable experiences around it.

For Archium, the European Archive, live tasting program, and improved customer journey created a new expression of the brand—one centered on thoughtful stewardship, personal connection, and the belief that exceptional wine is worth waiting for.
